  • This is a fantastic opportunity for a holiday complex or even a golf course.
A huge 253 Hectares (approximately 607 acres) of land with abandoned mining village and reservoir of 1,300,000 cubic metres of water.
The village, occupying more than 6,000 square metres of buildings, can be rebuilt either for individual housing, tourist developement or similar use on most parts of the property and not necessarily on the sites of the old houses.
No planning or building permission is permitted in this district unless forming part of a restoration project such as this.
The land lies in two parcels, one of 224 Hectares (537 acres) comprising the village and surroundings, and another of 29 Hectares (69.6 acres) enclosing the reservoir and adjacent land.
The water surface of the reservoir covers 14 Hectares when full. The reservoir is connected to the village by a canal which forms part of the main parcel of land.
In the event that permission should be granted in the future for the constructión of golfíng facilities, the water of the reservoir would be more than sufficient to irrigate an 18 hole course.
A bridge (see photograph), built for the railway line which originally serviced the mining community, crosses the river that passes through the property and is in sound condition, capable of bearing heavy loads but only wide enough for a single vehicle at a time. The main access to the property does not require the use of this bridge.
Seville airport is only 72 miles and the beaches of Huelva are under 50 miles.
