THE WEATHER

The diversity of Spain is reflected in its weather. The numerous mountain ranges, plateaus and two different oceans provide all types of regional weather differences. Despite this the fact remains that Spain is undoubtedly one of the warmest countries in Europe.

Looking at the weather in a simplistic north, centre and south split you will generally find the south has very hot summers and mild winters with rainfall being scarce, central Spain has cold winters with hot summers with variable rainfall and finally the north has milder winters than northern Europe and has warm summers with ample rainfall.

There is detailed provincial weather information available when you take a look at one of our properties online.

To sum up, Spain offers climates to suite all tastes, the heat of the south compared to the mildness of the north. It's up to you to decide which you prefer.
